hey guys, we'll cook Filipino Style Creamy Bacon and Mushroom Carbonara
here are the ingredients we need
spaghetti, we'll cook that later according to package instruction
bacon, chopped into small pieces
button mushroom, sliced
table cream or all purpose cream
parmesan cheese
garlic, minced
parsely
Knorr beef cube
we also need water and salt when we cook the spaghetti
for your convenience, here's the complete list of ingredients
let's start, first step is cook the spaghetti
boil water then add salt
let the water boil again then add the spaghetti
follow the package instructions
for best result
since the water is ready, here goes the spaghetti
continue boiling until spaghetti is cooked
stir spaghetti once in a while to avoid adhering
this will also help cook the spaghetti evenly
once spaghetti is cooked, drain the water
set aside the spaghetti once water is drained
next is the carbonara sauce
pre heat cooking pot. Then add bacon
place the bacon directly so we can extract the oil and make it crispy at the same time
stir bacon once in a while like what we did in our spaghetti
because of the same concept. It will be evenly cooked
the bacon is almost done
transfer the bacon in a bowl
scoop the bacon and transfer to a bowl
drip excesss oil before transfering to the bowl
set aside bacon and discard the oil. Use enough amount for stir frying
using the extracted bacon fat, stir fry the bacon
stir until light brown in color
next is button mushroom
this canned mushroom
discard the water from the can. If you bought sliced ones, add it directly here. But if you bought the whole ones, don't worry, slicing it is very easy
continue cooking and get ready with the Knorr beef cube
I'm using this for more beefy flavor
open, then place it directly in our pot
crush the beef cube to dissolve it faster
once beef cube has mixed well, add all purpose cream
a traditional carbonara doesn't include this ingredient
but for me using cream makes it richer and creamier
I'm using 3 cans of cream
we want a saucy carbonara, not dry
it's our chance to make sure it's delicious
we don't need to simmer the sauce
stir a bit then add the parmesan cheese
this is grated parmesan cheese
mix very well to incorporate the cheese with the sauce
next is add half of the bacon we fried earlier
cook for 2 min.
then we'll add the cooked spaghetti to our sauce
I placed the spaghetti in a bowl and scoop the sauce here
this is our carbonara sauce with bacon and mushroom
and of course let's top it with the bacon left
this dish is very special
we have a lot of ingredients but we're not yet done. We'll sprinkle this with parsely
minced parsely
now that we have our extra bacon and parsely, let's mix it
make sure all ingredients blended well
once we're done mixing, transfer to a serving plate
sprinkle with extra parmesan cheese
and add more bacon and parsely
but of course it's up to you how much bacon and parsely you want to add

Spaghetti 1 Knorr Beef Cube 6 ounces bacon chopped 1 4 oz. can button mushroom, sliced 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 21 ounces all-purpose cream 5 cloves garlic minced 2 tablespoons parsley minced 3 quarts water 2 teaspoons salt Instructions: Pour water in a deep cooking pot. Let boil. Add salt. Put the spaghetti into the pot. Cook the spaghetti according to the time indicated in the package instructions. Remove the spaghetti from the cooking pot. Drain the water. Set aside. Prepare the sauce by heating a clean cooking pot. Add bacon and cook in medium heat until the bacon fat gets extracted. Continue to cook until the texture of the bacon becomes crispy. Remove the bacon from the pot and place in a clean bowl. Set aside. Discard the bacon fat or keep for future use. Leave 2 to 3 tablespoons of bacon fat in the pot. Using the remaining bacon fat (oil), saute garlic until light brown. Add mushrooms. Cook for 30 seconds. Add Knorr Beef Cube. Crush the cube and cook for another 30 seconds while continuously stirring. Pour the all-purpose cream into the pot. Stir and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Add Parmesan cheese and half of the cooked bacon into the pot. Stir until smooth. Arrange some pasta in a large bowl. Pour Carbonara sauce over the pasta. Sprinkle some bacon and chopped parsley. Toss until all ingredients are well blended. Transfer to a serving plate. Top with more Parmesan cheese, bacon, and chopped parsley. Serve. Share and enjoy!
